Analisis Kesalahan Konsep dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Operasi Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan Pecahan Campuran

Abstract

This article describes the location of students' misconceptions in solving the problem of adding and subtracting mixed fraction operations. This research is a descriptive study that aims to provide a description of concept errors made by students in solving problems on the subject of the addition and subtraction of mixed fractions. The data in the study were obtained from the results of student tests, then students who obtained low scores were interviewed based on the results of the tests they obtained. Based on the test results and the results of interviews obtained that in solving the problems of adding and subtracting mixed fraction operations, it was seen that the location of the students' mistakes was as follows: 1) error in linking two concepts, 2) misinterpreting data in calculating because it is not through.
